Il Bulo e il Maestro si incontravano in cantina. Era l’anno 2017, era sempre notte. Cosa succede quando a Tom Waits e i Bad Seeds si mescolano i Portishead, gli Air? C’era il sussulto elettronico oscuro di qualcosa che nasce. C’era del blues, senza dubbio, ma aveva un contorno cangiante, inconsueto.

La pulsazione richiamò le anime adatte. Reduci di assortite efferatezze, eccoli: Marco, Appo, Nico. Ecco i Soul Kamikaze. Era passato un anno.

Ci vollero altre dodici lune, per uscire dall’ombra. E dal buio di un palco intriso di ombre, si alzò il ruggito downbeat. Era il 2019, chi c’era lo ricorda, puoi starne certo.

Fu poi necessario scolpire, per darsi un arrivo e un punto di partenza. Siamo al 2020, Dancing Trees, il loro primo album è pronto.

Bulo and Maestro used to meet in a basement. It was year 2017, it was always at night. What happens when Tom Waits and the Bad Seeds mingle with Portishead and Air? There was the dark electronic gasp of something about to be born. There was some blues, no doubt, but bearing a changing, unusual shape.

The pulse attracted the appropriate souls. Veterans of assorted crimes, there they were: Marco, Appo, Nico. Here they are, the Soul Kamikaze. By then, one year had gone by.

It took twelve more moons to get out of the dark. Then, from the dark of a stage that was soaked with shadows the downbeat roar arose. It was 2019, who was there still remembers, for sure.

Carving became a need, to seal an end and a new beginning. It is year 2020, Dancing Trees, their first album is out now.
